About Craig

Craig WilliamsCraig Williams is a holistic counsellor,  meditation teacher, naturopath and massage therapist.

During my late teens and early twenties, I struggled with the effects of anxiety and depression on my self-esteem.

I sought counselling for these conditions and this enabled me to appreciate how they had developed within me.

I felt more positive after doing exercise, so I began to do yoga, joined a gym, played competitive sports and began to experiment with vegetarian diets and natural therapies.

I completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Health Promotion) at Deakin University in 1993, which led me to work with Life. Be In It for two years.

In the late 1990s I studied fitness instruction and personal training and briefly worked in a gym environment, but I realised that many of these people were still unsatisfied with their lives, despite achieving their physical goals.

A friend of mine, who had a strong belief in the human body's ability to heal itself, introduced me to the concept of detoxification through distilled water fasting and drinking fungus extracts from therapeutic Japanese mushrooms.

These experiences contributed to my keen interest in healing myself and others, naturally, so I decided to become a natural therapist to develop a stronger rapport with others to understand the powerful link between their minds, bodies and healing.

I am an accredited member of:
